The Face of the Enemy

The Face of the Enemy.

Earlier I mentioned I believe a majority or humanities problems relate back to the one basic root cause of "Free Pollution".  A basic system that has for millennium allowed select groups to profit by taking advantage of any person or resource they can and leaving the garbage behind for someone else to clean up.  I realize this is a very broad definition and it can be looked at from many different angles.

The basic premise of the better world which I seek is really that of the “Golden Rule” and coming up with worldwide policies, systems and positive incentives to encourage and educate everyone everywhere to live by this rule.

Everyone regardless of ethnicity or upbringing deserves the basics of food, water, shelter, health care, education and protection from abuse; or at the very least an adequate chance to provide these things for themselves and their families.

So with that goal in mind, I set out to understand the barriers to achieving this goal universally.

What is the face of the enemy?  What does it really look like?  Many people point to evil Rulers, Warlords or Politicians such as Hitler, Stalin or Joseph Kony.  I do agree there are many evil people in the world that use their power to cause unthinkable amounts of suffering for their own personal agendas.  However, I believe the problem doesn’t really lay with the people themselves but more with the system that allows them to take power and accomplish those unspeakable acts.

So what is the system that allows and sometimes even encourages this type of behavior?  I believe it is capitalism, communism, feudalism and even socialism.  It is any system that allows and encourages people to get ahead by stepping on the backs of others and leaving a trail of pollution in their wake.

So what system or systems could work better?  I believe we need a new system altogether in this new global information age that takes the best parts of all the other systems combined and leaves out as many of the bad parts as possible.  Call it humanitarianism, or maybe even Paradism.  There are many ideas throughout the internet at what types of policies might work for a new system like this.  Over the weeks and months I will discuss and link to as many as possible.  We will also ponder some of the possibilities to transition from our current systems to a new one that could help us build a new world future that we can all be proud of.

Please leave comments and let me know what you think.  Let’s build the new world together!
